Why Was 401GO Started?
Our founders had a problem.
When Dan Beck tried to set up a 401(k) plan for the employees of his small business, he discovered that the options for small companies were limited, expensive, and confusing. Big legacy providers weren’t interested in offering small plans, and no one had emerged as a champion of the little guy.
Dan partnered with brother and business partner Nate Beck to create the technology that would solve the problem. Nate’s background in software engineering and process automation made him perfectly suited to take on such a challenge. They brought on industry expert Jared Porter, who lent his considerable knowledge to the endeavor. Jared’s creative thinking enabled the team to build streamlined and inexpensive solutions to common industry problems.
