OUR COMPANY

Built by someone who got tired of being told no.

In 2018, Dan Beck tried to do right by his employees. He ran a small business and wanted to offer a 401(k) — not because he had to, but because it felt like the right thing to do. What he found was a system designed to ignore him.

Big providers weren’t interested in small plans. The ones who would talk to him quoted prices that didn’t make sense for a company his size. The paperwork was dense, the timelines were long, and nobody seemed to think the problem was worth solving. Small businesses were expected to either overpay or go without.
Dan didn’t accept that. He brought in his brother Nate Beck — a software engineer with a background in process automation — and together they started asking a different question: what would a retirement platform look like if you built it right, from scratch, for the businesses everyone else was ignoring?
They brought in Jared Porter, a retirement industry veteran who knew exactly where the existing system was broken and why. With Dan’s vision, Nate’s engineering, and Jared’s domain expertise, the three of them built 401GO — not a patch on an existing system, but a new one entirely.

Most retirement is still in the MP3 era. We built the streaming infrastructure.

OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE

The retirement industry didn’t need an upgrade. It needed a rebuild.

Most recordkeepers are running on infrastructure that predates the internet. They digitized manual processes instead of rethinking them. The result is a system that’s slow, expensive, and held together by handoffs between vendors — a recordkeeper here, a TPA there, an actuarial firm somewhere else, and a plan sponsor left to manage all of it.
401GO was built as a single integrated platform that owns the entire retirement stack: recordkeeping, plan administration, compliance, investment fiduciary, and payroll integration — all in one system, with one team behind it. No outsourced backend. No waiting on a vendor’s roadmap. No multiple points of failure between your payroll run and a participant’s retirement account.
The practical result: small businesses can offer a genuinely great retirement benefit in 15 minutes. Midsize and larger employers get hands-free plan management that doesn’t require a dedicated HR team to keep running. And advisors and payroll partners get a platform that actually keeps pace with their book of business.
That’s what it looks like to build for the future instead of patching the past.

What you get when you choose 401GO.

We didn’t build a checklist of features. We built a system designed to make retirement simple for the people who find it complicated. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

15-Minute Plan Setup – because your time matters more than our onboarding process

Hands-free plan management – compliance, administration, and payroll sync handled at the platform level

Transparent, straightforward pricing – no hidden fees, no surprises when the invoice arrives

Pioneering technology – a platform built from the ground up, not a legacy system in a new interface

Dedicated human support – a real person assigned to every account, not a ticket queue

Intuitive mobile app – full plan access wherever you are
